Q1: What is your favourite thing about PSG Academy Wales/Some thoughts on the sessions.

“My favourite thing about PSG Academy is the variety of opportunities it provides. I’ve really enjoyed looking at college courses and discussing potential careers with football, as it’s helped me think about my future in sport. The trip to FAW Headquarters was a great experience, and I’ve also liked talking through session plans to make sure I know exactly what we’re doing out on the pitch. One of the best parts has been seeing the players enjoy the sessions, especially helping to develop players who don’t play for clubs—it’s been really rewarding!”

Q2: What would you like to improve on in the next half-term?

“In the next half-term, I’d like to improve my CV writing skills to help me with future job and career opportunities. I also want to learn new and different drills to develop my coaching knowledge and become a better coach.”

Mentor’s Comments/Mentee Development:

“Will has been an integral part of our PSG Academy family for nearly three years, first as a dedicated player and now as a valued mentee. His passion for football, particularly his unwavering love for Leeds United, shines through in everything he does. Will is a wonderful young man with a big personality, and it has been fantastic to witness his confidence grow—both as a coach and as an individual. His commitment is evident in the time he willingly gives up every Wednesday afternoon to shadow and support our coaches, actively delivering drills and even refereeing matches. He is a credit to both his school and our academy, and I have no doubt that his ambition to work in football will take him far—perhaps even for Leeds one day! I wish him all the best in his remaining months at school and in the lead-up to his GCSE exams.”
