Just six weeks into the new season, our PSG U15 Girls in Milton Keynes are already showing encouraging signs of growth, both individually and as a team.
With every training session and match, the players are continuing to learn, develop and gain a deeper understanding of the PSG Methodology, while building confidence and experience in a competitive environment.
A New Squad, A New Challenge
This season marks the first time this group of players has competed together as a squad, proudly representing the PSG badge in the Milton Keynes area.
The team has made its debut in the Bedfordshire FA Girls League, providing the players with an exciting opportunity to test themselves in competitive girls’ football while putting the principles developed during training into practice.
So far, the PSG U15 Girls have played three matches, recording two wins and one defeat.
Although the league campaign itself is yet to get underway, with the opening fixtures coming in cup competitions, the team has already demonstrated a number of positive qualities on the pitch.
Developing Through Competitive Football
Across their opening matches, the girls have shown confidence, consistency and personality, while continuing to embrace the way we want to play.
The players are beginning to transfer the principles and ideas developed on the training ground into a competitive match environment. Their willingness to play, compete and learn has been evident throughout these opening weeks of the season.
For a new squad playing together for the first time, these early fixtures are an important part of their development. Every match provides another opportunity to learn, build relationships as a team and understand what it means to represent PSG Academy.
The Season Ahead
With a long season still ahead, the focus remains firmly on player development, teamwork and continuous improvement.
As the weeks progress, we are excited to see how this group continues to grow, both individually and collectively, and how they respond to the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.
