Our partnership with Lord Grey Academy in Bletchley began earlier this year in January 2023. The focus has been the development of football programmes which also run parallel with the students educational studies. An intensive Extra Curricular football offering was created to match the vision of the Sixth Form.
Each week players are welcomed to 7 hours of football sessions, workshops and mentorship from Paris Saint-Germain Academy England coaching staff. The programme is managed and run by the Technical Director for the UK – Paulo Pereira.
Each player is trained in the Parisian way with a focus on development, fitness and understanding of the beautiful game!
Alongside this students within the Year 12 cohort are offered opportunities to coach within a work experience environment – again managed by the dedicated team of coaches. The aim of this is to grow their confidence, leadership skills and communication. It also ensures that students interested in coaching have the opportunity to develop their skills. In turn this offers them another opportunity when they come to finishing their studies at Lord Grey Academy.
Weekly sessions are also available at the school with our Player Development Programme which is for players aged between 8-13 from the school and the local community in Milton Keynes.
